Where To Spend Valentine’s Day In Brickell & Downtown Miami

Brickell.com Staff
Post by Brickell.com Staff February 9, 2017

From five-star haunts to riverside hideaways, here’s where to dine in Brickell and Downtown Miami for Valentine’s Day.

Mandarin Oriental

Brickell Key’s marquee hotel is hosting Valentine’s Day dinners at Azul and La Mar by Gastón Acurio and a limited-time overnight package. Priced at $220 per couple without champagne or $300+ per couple with a bottle Piper Heidsieck, the luxurious sit down features an oyster and caviar amuse brioche, three courses, and a dessert. La Mar has crafted individual platings, including the “Tiradito Passion” ($28) and “Langosta Acebichada” ($69).  The Mandarin Oriental’s Romance Package (beginning at $837) runs through February, providing a one-night stay with in-room champagne upon arrival, breakfast for two, and dinner at one of the two restaurants.

Big Easy Winebar & Grill

The Brickell City Centre’s newest haunt is serving a three-course Valentine’s Day dinner with South African-inspired eats for $160 per couple (excluding tax and gratuity). Start the evening with a bison tartare in smoked oyster emulsion or with olive oil poached octopus carpaccio, then get hearty with a double lamb chop with Brussels sprouts or filet mignon with lobster and curry sabayon.

River Yacht Club

Dine along the Miami River while taking in a Burlesque performance by Erika Moon this Valentine’s Day at the River Yacht Club.  A special à la carte dinner plays into the holiday with heart-shaped tuna tartare, oysters in a champagne jelly, and a passion fruit dessert.
