Overview

Located at 1541 Brickell Avenue, The Palace is a high-rise residential tower in Miami’s trendy Brickell neighborhood featuring high-class amenities and lavish finishes. This  waterfront jewel is the sister building to The Atlantis on Brickell, a building famous for its appearance in the opening credits of Miami Vice.

At 400 feet tall—the 42nd tallest building in the city—The Palace was developed from 1978 to 1981 by Franyie Engineers, Inc.  It was designed by Arquitectonica, a famed architectural firm.  The building’s 40 floors house a total of 254 units with floor plans ranging from nearly 1,000 square feet to over 3,000 square feet.  The Palace’s residential condominium units are available in one, two, three and four bedroom models with the number of baths also varying from one to four rooms. Available for purchase or for rent, the units at The Palace are some of Brickell and Downtown Miami’s best offerings.  Many condos are complete with desirable design features including tiled and hardwood floors; elite kitchen appliances such as electric range stoves and dishwashers; floor-to-ceiling windows; and sizeable waterfront balconies.

One of Miami’s first neighborhoods, Brickell is located south of the Miami River. Prior to the building boom of the early 2000’s, the area was primarily known as a financial district.  It is still home to major financial institutions including Bank of America, Mellon Financial, Espirito Santo Financial Group, and HSBC, but today it is also widely recognized as an emergent high-rise condominium residential neighborhood.

Most low-rise and mid-rise residential buildings are situated west of Brickell Avenue, while luxury high-rise condominium towers such as The Palace and single-family residences are located east of Brickell Avenue, also dubbed ‘Millionaires Row.’ Regardless of where residents live, this desirable area is minutes from South Florida’s most popular areas and attractions.  Brickell Avenue residents are just a short drive from iconic South Beach beaches and nightlife; Key Biscayne, an island oasis that
is home to the Sony Ericsson Open; and Coconut Grove, a charming village which hosts the annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival.

Brickell is also close to many of Miami’s cultural centers such as the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, the Miami Art Museum, Jackie Gleason Theater, Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts, Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theater, American Airlines Arena, Bass Museum of Art, Miami Children’s Museum, and the Freedom Tower. Shopping centers are also abundant in the Brickell neighborhood.  Bayside Marketplace, for one, is a waterfront retail, dining and entertainment center located on Biscayne Boulevard. Retail shops include Brookstone, Champ’s Sports, Skechers, Guess, Wet Seal, Traffic, Disney Store, and GNC,
while the Hard Rock Cafe, Mambo Cafe, Los Ranchos, Chili’s, CrepeMaker, and Let’s Make a Daiquiri are a few of Bayside Marketplace’s restaurants
and bars.
