Vacation…Staycation

Carve out some time for a staycation in Brickell, rather than going on vacation. Brickell’s hotels feature luxurious pool-scapes with swaying palms and comfy lounge chairs. If you really want to keep cool rent a poolside cabana and chill out all day sipping on piña coladas or some other tropical drinks. Nothing beats a dip in the pool; followed by a cool, crisp rooftop lunch and cocktail.

Chill Out at the Movies

Take chilling out to a new level at Brickell’s luxury movie theater, CMX. Located in Brickell City Centre, this swanky movie theater offers a movie-watching experience like no other. The theater features oversized, comfortable reclining chairs so that you can relax, while keeping cool and watching a movie. The best thing about watching a movie at CMX is enjoying the luxury dining and full bar service, which is available to all moviegoers.

Go Shopping

Brickell City Centre may be an outdoor mall. But don’t be fooled; it’s pretty cool, thanks to the covered pedestrian walkways. This mall spans three city blocks and features over 100 local and global retail brands. Saks Fifth Avenue is the major anchor store, with other brands such as Tommy Bahama, Armani, Victoria’s Secrets, and Kendra Scott thrown into the mix. For and extra blast of cool air, step inside the stores and shop away.

Explore Some Restaurants

Summer is the ideal time of year to explore some of Brickell’s restaurants that tend to be super crowded during tourist season. Beat the crowds and dine on some of South Florida’s most delicious food. Some suggestions include:
